We are strolling through the inner city of Oslo. Today is New Years eve, snow has fallen, the christmas decorations are still in place all around Oslo. Despite of this it doesn't really feel like "Norwegian winter", its too warm for that, too mild. Cecilie is showing me around town. We're passing numerous stores whose price level doesn't really agree with, spot Stormtrooper moon boots and pass by the Grand Hotel that is pictured above.
And somehow the title "Grand Hotel" also works nicely for the hospitality of Cecilie and Ace, two good friends I'm fortunate to be staying with for the week. I'm very grateful - for your invitation, your hospitality, the hilarious gaming evenings, the skiing. I'm having a great week here and I'm so not looking forward to my flight back to Germany on Sunday..
Also, fitting for todays date: Happy New Year! Many thanks that you are reading this post and are following the blog and pay attention to my irregular antics. Again and again the feedback shows that I shouldn't stop to blog and keep photographing what I see - and I hope that I find a bit more time for that this year.
Kind regards from Norway!
