Somehow the new blogging-interval moved to 1-week-gaps. Horrible.
This image is one of the shots that I handed in for my Still Life assignments - this one was for the one where I was free to do whatever I wanted. I was interested in showing the back side of flowers, the one nobody pays attention to. I shot it during my first experiments with the topic and never went on to a reshoot as I was very happy with this image already. Very unusual.
I used two lights for the background (that indeed was blue) and another one from the right as well as a reflector from the left. In Photoshop I simply intensified the colors to get to the original appearance, realigned it a bit and cleared some minor dents as all the pictures we handed in had to be perfect and pristine. Do you like it?
