Chicago.

Chicago, USA, July 29, 2015

This June I was flying to the States. Together with Norwegian friends I spent a week of holidays in Schaumburg near Chicago and in addition to that was part of one of the largest LEGO events, Brickworld, for a couple of days afterwards .

Obviously there was no way to not see Chicago. We headed there in the early morning by train, one of those massive metal monsters with two stories, and spent the whole day exploring Chicago by foot. For example we visited the Sears Tower that totally fuels your anticipation with massive queues on multiple maze-like floors. Die view over Chicago and its surroundings and those funny glass cubes on its facade are totally worth it though.

I took this image on the way back to the train station in the late evening. To the left is Downtown Chicago, the river is the Chicago River and the round tower on the right is one of two car parks that, shaped similar to flowers, rise into the sky.
