Christmasy Lights.

Copenhagen, Denmark, December 5, 2016

The sun just went down and thousand little lights are turning the Tivoli in Copenhagen into a Christmasy sea of lights. Small armadas of Christmas trees and massive decorated firs – covered in (fake) snow, despite the temperatures – are causing constant "Oooooh"s and "Aaaaah"s. Kitsch, of course, but beautiful.

This lantern meets us on our way to the exit. Chris and Laura are trying to photograph the waterfall made of tiny lights – enough time for me to photograph this garland. And then we're off to head home, through the artfully lit up gate, past the lights, the trains and three hours of landscape that rolls past the bus windows.
